<image:title>Home - Feed AVL is a program of Southside Community Farm (SCF). We distribute free, fresh, locally sourced food into the BIPOC community, regardless of income, with an emphasis on the Southside neighborhood.</image:title>
<image:caption>Through our Veggie Box Program, we intensively grow vegetables and herbs on multiple urban farm plots in West Asheville and at SCF. We value collaboration and support local farmers by purchasing additional products for our boxes like fresh fruit and other complimentary vegetables and herbs. We prioritize BIPOC businesses and farms, supporting at least one local BIPOC-owned farm or business each week. In partnership with Olivette Farm we supply 15 additional weekly veggie boxes to the Southside community each farm season.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Our Veggie Box Program provides free veggie boxes to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) individuals and families in our community regardless of income, with emphasis on the Southside neighborhood. Our program runs for 20 weeks over the farming season. Each week our members receive a bountiful box of seasonal, organic vegetables & herbs grown in West Asheville and SCF. We partner with local farms and businesses to provide additional produce, fruit, herbal teas, medicinal products, and value-added products to our recipients. We give priority to our BIPOC business community with at least one additional box item per week sourced from a different BIPOC-owned farm or business. You can choose to fund someone’s free weekly box by becoming a Veggie Box Sponsor or donating to sustain the program. Every donation, no matter how small, supports the success of this program.</image:caption>
